About Dr. Bird

William F. (Chip) BirdWilliam F. (Chip) Bird, D.D.S., M.S.

 

Dr. Bird graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1994 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In 2000, he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Marquette University. Continuing his studies at Marquette University, Dr. Bird received a Master of Science degree in Orthodontics in 2002. He is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the Wisconsin Society of Orthodontists, and he serves on the Board of Trustees for the Dane County Dental Society. Dr. Bird has been practicing orthodontics in Madison since 2002, and he treats patients at all four Orthodontic Specialists of Madison locations. Dr. Bird was named one of "Madison's Top Dentists" by Madison Magazine, most recently in the September 2009 issue.

Dr. Bird is married and is proud to be the father of three children.  His twin girls, Jane and Caroline, were adopted from China in 2004, and his son Owen was adopted from South Korea in 2007. In his free time, Dr. Bird enjoys following University of Wisconsin sports teams, fishing, camping, and nearly all outdoor activities.
